The poncho raincoat is super breathable, and that alone makes it worth buying.
Easy to use, highly recommended! !
If you get caught in the rain on the mountain with this cape, and I mean a consistent rain, the water will pass through it. It is only good if there are small sprinkles and a heavy rain, instead, in a serious rain, the water passes through it. I do not recommend!
Practical
After using it for 3 days in the rain between intermittent showers and not very intense rain for hours, the protection was as expected.

So you don't get wet in rainy places
I am completely satisfied with the poncho! I tested it in pouring rain on open waters in a boat. In constant rain for about 10 hours (I stood under an umbrella in between) in combination with my rain jacket I stayed completely dry. Even on a hiking tour with moderate rain for about 4-5 hours I stayed completely dry. I like the design and the snap fasteners. The workmanship is great, so nothing to complain about. Clearly recommend buying it!

The fit is suitable for hikers between: - 5 feet 1.2 inches and 5 feet 1.8 inches in height for size S/M- 5 feet 1.9 inches and 6 feet 2.8 inches in height for size L/XLThe hood is tightened with a drawstring and a rip-tab at the back.

Waterproofing of the garment
this garment has been validated in a shower test under 4.8'' of rain for 2 hours. This test reproduces the average conditions of a rain shower in the mountains.
Component breathability
Our range of rain ponchos and capes does not have breathable waterproof membranes. We therefore recommend this product when you walk at a gentle relaxed pace rather than a fast hike, in order to reduce sweating!
Component water resistance
A fabric is water repellent when it allows water slide over its surface without seeping in. This prevents the fabric from soaking up water and keeps it lightweight, warm and breathable. The water repellent property is achieved by treating the fabric's exterior. This treatment needs to be renewed throughout the lifetime of the garment (every 3 washes).All the Forclaz ponchos and capes have a water repellent treatment.
Storage instructions
Make sure it is completely dry before folding and storing in its storage bag for long periods.
